Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not use resellz for.
This policy applies to every operator with an account. Violations result in immediate account termination without refund and may result in reports to law enforcement or to the affected platform.
Last updated 2026-05-24 · Effective 2026-06-23.
1. Prohibited goods + sales
You may not use resellz to record, organize, or facilitate the sale of:
- Counterfeit, replica, or knowingly trademark-infringing merchandise.
- Stolen merchandise, including items obtained by fraud, theft, or retail-return abuse you knew or should have known about.
- Recalled merchandise (consumer product safety) without disclosure to the buyer.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or weapon components; weapon kits or 3D-printable weapon files.
- Controlled substances, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, kratom, salvia, or any compound whose sale is restricted under the Controlled Substances Act.
- Tobacco, vape, and nicotine products in jurisdictions where remote-sale is prohibited.
- Alcohol in jurisdictions where remote-sale is prohibited.
- Sanctioned-country origin goods or goods subject to OFAC sanctions.
- Wildlife or wildlife products covered by CITES; ivory; protected animal parts.
- Adult content involving minors (CSAM), terrorist content, or other content illegal to possess.
- Personal identifying information, account credentials, or payment instruments belonging to a third party.
2. Prohibited reselling activity
You may not use resellz to plan, coordinate, log, or analyze:
- Automated retailer-account creation, automated checkout, or any form of "botting" against limited drops.
- Ticket resale above face value in jurisdictions where above-face-value resale is restricted.
- Mass return-fraud schemes ("wardrobing," empty-box returns, swapped-item returns).
- Coordinated card-cashback abuse intended to defraud the card issuer's terms (e.g. wash-trading to clear a sign-on bonus).
- Sale of goods you obtained by misrepresenting eligibility (e.g. teacher / first-responder / military discounts you don't qualify for).
- Operation of multiple accounts to evade resellz suspensions, retailer bans, or platform purchase limits.
2A. Card-tracking honesty
Any credit card, debit card, prepaid card, store card, loyalty card, or other payment-method record you add to resellz must be a card that you own, that is issued to you, or for which you have specific written authorization from the cardholder to record and track the card’s cashback rate, balance, due dates, and spending. You may not add cards belonging to family members, employers, employees, friends, or any third party without that authorization. Adding cards you do not own or control is a violation of this policy and may also be a violation of state and federal payment-card law.
2B. Falsified evidence + screenshots
You may not upload, attach, paste, share, post, or otherwise submit to resellz or any resellz community surface any of the following if you know, or reasonably should know, it has been fabricated, doctored, altered, or otherwise misrepresented:
- retailer receipts, order confirmations, refund confirmations, or chargeback documents;
- tracking numbers, shipping labels, return labels, or carrier screenshots;
- payment-method statements, payout statements, or 1099 forms;
- screenshots of merchant emails, chat transcripts, or support tickets;
- marketplace listings, sale receipts, or buyer messages;
- any image, audio, or text that purports to be from a retailer, marketplace, payment processor, or other third party but is not.
Falsified evidence may inflate your reported profit, defame the merchant or platform shown, mislead other community members, or trigger fraud claims against you. resellz will remove such content on report and may terminate the offending account without refund.
2C. Third-party notifications + spam through resellz
You may not use the resellz alert router, Telegram bot, Discord bot, email triggers, push notifications, or any other notification surface to:
- send, route, or trigger any message, call, SMS, or push notification to any person, phone number, email address, Telegram chat, Discord channel, or device that has not specifically consented to receive that message from you or from a service you operate;
- add a buyer’s, supplier’s, or third party’s phone number, email, Telegram, or Discord identifier as an alert-route destination without their consent;
- send bulk, automated, or unsolicited commercial messages (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, or equivalent foreign rules apply — and they apply to you, not resellz);
- harass, stalk, intimidate, or repeatedly contact any individual through any resellz-routed channel.
2D. AI-feature misuse
You may not use resellz’s AI-powered features (Pricing Oracle, anomaly flags, OCR, inbox parsers, daily briefs, or any model-generated output, including any feature built on third-party model providers such as Anthropic) to:
- generate, refine, or distribute content that harasses, defames, or threatens any person, business, or protected group;
- impersonate any retailer, marketplace, brand, employee, customer, or public figure;
- generate misleading product descriptions, fake reviews, fake testimonials, or fake "AI said X" screenshots;
- circumvent the safety policies of the underlying model provider (any third-party model provider’s acceptable-use policy applies to your use of features built on top of that provider);
- extract, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive the prompts, system prompts, weights, or internal embeddings of any model used by resellz.
2E. User-configured drop monitors, RSS feeds + scrapers
When you configure resellz to receive, ingest, route, or alert on any URL, RSS feed, webhook, IMAP mailbox, supplier API, or other data source you supply (the “Configured Source”), you represent and warrant that:
- you have the legal right and any necessary authorization to access the Configured Source, including under the terms-of-service or other access agreement that governs it;
- polling, scraping, or webhook ingestion of the Configured Source from your use of resellz does not violate any applicable terms, contractual restriction, computer-fraud statute, anti-circumvention rule, or court order applicable to you;
- you alone are responsible for any cease-and-desist letter, takedown notice, civil claim, or criminal complaint arising from the Configured Source, and you will indemnify resellz against all such claims under § 9 of the Terms of Service.
2F. Buyer + customer data + receipts containing third-party PII
You may record information about your buyers, customers, suppliers, employees, or other third parties (names, contact details, addresses, purchase history) in resellz to operate your own business. When you do, you are the data controller of that information and resellz is your data processor acting on your instructions. You represent and warrant that:
- you have a lawful basis (consent, contract, or other legal ground) to collect, store, and process that information, and to upload it to resellz, in every jurisdiction in which you operate;
- you have provided every third party whose information you upload with whatever notice is required under applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, CAN-SPAM, etc.);
- when you upload receipts, screenshots, photos, or documents that may contain third-party PII (an employee’s name on a return slip, another customer’s order line, a tipped server’s identifier), you have either redacted that PII or have a lawful basis to upload it;
- you will respond to your own buyers’ or third parties’ data-subject access, deletion, or correction requests — resellz will assist by providing export and delete tooling, but resellz is not the controller and cannot answer those requests on your behalf.
You indemnify resellz against any claim that arises out of your upload, processing, or retention of any third party’s personal information through the Service.
2G. Account sharing
Your resellz account is for you alone. You may not share your password, 2FA codes, session tokens, or bot link with any other person — including employees, contractors, family members, or business partners — without explicit prior written approval from resellz. If your business needs multi-seat access, contact support@rsellz.com to discuss a team plan. Any action taken under your credentials — including actions taken by a person you shared access with, intentionally or negligently — is treated as your action and is your responsibility under these Terms.
3. Retailer-account scanning
If you enable the gift-card or store-account balance scanner for a retailer, you represent and warrant (and reaffirm on every subsequent use) that:
- you are the rightful holder of the retailer account, or you are a person specifically authorized in writing by the rightful holder to access it on their behalf;
- no retailer, marketplace, issuer, processor, or other platform has individually notified you, your account, your IP address, your household, or any device you control that automated, scripted, or programmatic access to that account is prohibited, and you are not the subject of any injunction, settlement, cease-and-desist letter, or written restriction that prohibits you from using automation against that account;
- you accept full responsibility for any consequence imposed by the retailer or platform — account suspension, account closure, forfeiture of stored value, forfeiture of rewards or gift-card balances, chargebacks, or legal action — and you will not seek to recover that loss from resellz;
- you understand the retailer’s own terms of service may independently restrict or prohibit automated access, and compliance with those terms is your responsibility, not resellz’s.
The scanner operates the same workflow a human user would, using credentials you voluntarily provide. resellz acts only on your behalf and only at your direction. resellz does not provide, and the scanner is not designed to provide, any tool intended to bypass, circumvent, defeat, or evade any retailer’s technical access controls, anti-bot systems, CAPTCHA challenges, IP-based rate limits, device fingerprinting, account-creation restrictions, queue or virtual-waiting-room enforcement, or purchase-quantity limits. If a retailer introduces a control that the scanner would have to defeat in order to continue operating, we will disable the integration rather than circumvent the control.
resellz does not and cannot warrant continued compatibility with any retailer, marketplace, issuer, processor, or platform, and may disable, suspend, restrict, throttle, or remove any integration at any time, in our sole discretion, for any operational, legal, risk-management, compliance, retailer-demand, or security reason — with or without notice.
4. Platform abuse + security
You may not:
- Attempt to access another operator's data, account, or session.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of resellz infrastructure without prior written authorization. (Authorized testing is welcome — see /security.)
- Use resellz to send unsolicited bulk messages, phishing, or spam through Discord, Telegram, push, or email channels.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any binary artifact of the Service.
- Operate a webhook endpoint that targets a private network (10/8, 127/8, 169.254/16, RFC1918) or that returns malformed responses intended to exhaust resellz workers.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of resellz, including via excessive automated traffic, intentionally malformed payloads, or attempts to bypass rate limits.
5. AI features
Deal Brain, Pricing Oracle, anomaly flags, card recommendations, inbox parsers, and similar model-driven features produce advisory information only. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. You may not represent the output of these features to a third party as the formal advice of a licensed professional.
6. Compliance with law
You are solely responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to your reselling activity, including (without limitation) sales tax collection and remittance, 1099-K reconciliation, business licensing, consumer-protection law, anti-money-laundering rules, and import/export controls. resellz is software, not your tax preparer, attorney, accountant, or compliance officer. We provide tools to help you stay organized; we do not file returns on your behalf and we do not act as a marketplace facilitator.
7. Reporting + enforcement
If you believe another operator is violating this AUP, email abuse@rsellz.com with details and evidence. We investigate every report and may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate the offending account, delete the offending content or data, and report the activity to law enforcement or to the affected platform. We do not disclose the identity of reporters to subjects of reports.
Termination for AUP violation is without refund. We may at our discretion grant or deny any partial refund based on the circumstances.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the operator dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of resellz after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
